Privacy Policy

Private Pilot Mag LLC

Our Flight Path to Privacy
We treat your data the way we treat a private runway: cleared, secured, and visible only to those with clearance. This policy explains what we collect while you browse our curated routes, how we guard it during transit, and when we retire it from service. Everything here applies to the website, email dispatches, and any inquiry you send from the ground.

Information You Hand Over at Check-In
When you subscribe to new coordinates or request a custom reconnaissance, we ask for the essentials: your email address, first name if you offer it, and sometimes a preferred departure city. If you reach out for partnership or property scouting, we log your message, the device you used, and the IP address that routed the signal. No passport numbers, no frequent-flyer miles, no billing details unless you explicitly book a charter through a linked provider, and even then we never touch the transaction.

Data Collected in Cruise Mode
As you navigate the site, standard logbook entries record your browser type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent aloft, and the referral runway that brought you here. We also drop a lightweight cookie, no heavier than a tailwind, to remember your language preference and whether you’ve dismissed a pop-up. Third-party analytics tools receive anonymized traffic patterns only; they see altitude, not identity.

How We Secure the Cabin
All data transmits over encrypted channels, stored on servers locked tighter than a Gulfstream door at altitude. Access is restricted to the flight crew who need it to dispatch content or answer inquiries. Backups are encrypted, retained for ninety days, then jettisoned. Physical mail reaches our hangar at 2700 FL-16 #312, St. Augustine, FL 32092, US, and is shredded after processing unless you request otherwise.

Sharing Only with Clearance
We do not sell, rent, or lease your coordinates to advertisers or data brokers. Information leaves our hold only under these conditions: when you initiate a booking through a partnered charter operator, when we respond to legal subpoenas served at altitude, or when we engage trusted subcontractors bound by the same privacy altimeter. These partners receive the minimum data required to complete the leg and nothing more.

Your Controls at Any Altitude
You may request a full download of the data we hold on you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or demand immediate deletion, subject to legal retention requirements. Send the request to [email protected] or call +1 904-789-1619; we respond within thirty days. Unsubscribe links live at the footer of every dispatch; one click and your email is removed from future flights.

Minors Below Deck
The site is charted for adult navigators. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under sixteen. If we discover such a passenger, we delete the record faster than a go-around.

Policy Updates and Turbulence
We may revise this policy when new routes or regulations appear on the scope. Significant changes are announced via email to active subscribers and posted on the site thirty days before taking effect. Continued use after the revision date means you accept the new flight plan.

Final Approach
Questions, concerns, or turbulence reports? Contact our privacy officer at [email protected], 2700 FL-16 #312, St. Augustine, FL 32092, US, or +1 904-789-1619. We respond from the cockpit, not an autopilot.
